Who is Dawn Baggett?

About Dawn

An adoptive mom of four along with three biological children, I've made it through each of the various family life cycle phases (that you’ll learn about in the program) and learned some of the pitfalls first-hand of being a second mom to four of my children & “mom” to all of them.

I experienced some of the confusion and chaos from unfamiliar behaviors and responses (mine, theirs & others) stemming from things like attachment issues & developmental traumas, effects of maternal substance abuse & disabilities.

I've watched all seven of my kids struggle with things their peers did not.

Aggression, violence, property damage, theft... and of course the trash talk and false accusations... you name it and I've been there or at least know of someone who has. But God has brought me through all these fires and can do the same for you. And you don't have to go it alone!

We've also had serious health crises in our family and seen first hand the short-comings of our medical, mental health, school, law enforcement and court systems. Whew! There's nothing new under the sun, for real!

I've been in the pit of despair...but God held onto me and helped me hold onto him.

And just like you, I'm still on this journey.
