In today's episode I want to talk about thankfulness & gratitude.
It can be really hard to feel grateful when we're going through a tough time, but I believe that it's just as important as ever to find things to appreciate in our lives, and to express our thankfulness to God and others. In this episode, I'm going to share with you three (3) reasons why being grateful in tough times is so important. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me as we explore the importance of gratitude.
You’ve probably noticed biases or blinders in other people which they, themselves, seem oblivious to. Of course the nature of bias is that it isn’t as easily recognized and acknowledged in the person who harbors that bias.
There are a variety of biases and blinders that we could mention here today. However, I recently learned about one in particular, with research demonstrating that in general we as individuals believe we have more restraint than we actually possess -- ultimately leading to poor decision-making.

In this episode our focus is identifying and exiting existing negative influences that may lead to temptations, to getting derailed from your path, and hindering your progress. As mamas we’re careful to monitor the harmful influences that may impact our young children. As they get older, it becomes harder to do.
What about ourselves?
We aren’t immune from dangerous influences just because we’re adults.
Of course we all have them. We all have Temptations. And of course they tend to come at the least optimal times for us.
One of those times is when you or I are under a great deal of stress. We can’t always get away from stress of course. But if you’re living in a state of continually high stress it can have a host of negative harmful effects on you. Do you have a plan in place and are you taking the steps to address your high, ongoing stress?
